The Sims is available in the following languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Italian, French, Polish, Japanese, Thai, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Swedish. 14 languages in all! EA did a simultaneous ship of the game in February 2000. The Sims Livin' Large Expansion Pack was release in September, 2000.

The Sims is priced around $30 - $50 in the U.S. Buy it from EA.
